I'm Sparks Smith (yes, that's my real name) and I am a graphic designer/artist from Oklahoma City! I recently graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with a Bachelors Degree in Arts Administration (graphic design and social media branding for businesses). I have done commissions and worked with various brands for the past 7 years. I started selling my own work at comic cons, however with the pandemic, I took my talents to my own site and have seen a lot of success! My degree has enabled me to turn my art into a business and I am really excited to continue making cool designs and products.

Most of my work revolves around pop culture. I feel that celebrity culture offers up an interesting perspective on what it's like to live in a time when ALL of our lives are so publicized and sensationalized online. I like to explore concepts of self and identity, and how modern technology can skew (or in some cases help) one's ability to find themselves. As someone in the LGBTQ+ community from the Suburbs of Oklahoma, I feel that the internet/celebrity culture helped me find myself in a place that seemingly denied the existence of people like me before a handful of years ago.
