There are many ways to support artists. A lot of them are easy and sometimes overlooked. Here's a list of things that are helpful to ANY artist whose work you support!
- Share the products you bought on Facebook. This helps so much more than you know, ESPECIALLY if you're sharing products in related Facebook groups. People want to know which artists they are safe to buy from, as well as which products are out there. Be sure to tag their art page (For me, Sparks Smith Art) or link their site (For me, sparkssmithart.bigcartel.com) so people can find the creators of the designs they love!
- This goes for Instagram too! Even posting a quick Instagram story tagging the artist (for me, sparks_smith) does wonders!
- Share on other social medias! Links are especially helpful because they show Google's algorithm that this is a legitimate business that people know about enough to talk about it!
Doing any of the above pushes artists higher up in Google Images' algorithm. People sharing my products has finally allowed me, Sparks Smith, to rank above numerous electrician companies, dogs affectionately named "Sparky", and so much more!
